From the very beginning, the foundation of Billig Jewelers has been service. Richard and Steven Billig started this business repairing and manufacturing jewelry in the Philadelphia area, and from 1988 to today the work still happens the same way — at our own bench in Marlton, NJ, never shipped out. Whether it is a simple chain solder or a custom-designed piece made especially for you, every item is documented at intake, insured in our care for up to $100,000, and handled by the same family team. Estimates are free, and final pricing is confirmed after we inspect the item.

JEWELRY REPAIR
Repair is the work this business was built on. Our master jewelers handle chain and clasp work (gold solder $25–$50, silver $20–$40), prong repair from $45, stone tightening and replacement, rhodium plating from $45, and knotted pearl restringing at $50–$125 per strand. Antique and heirloom restoration is quoted individually — we tell you first whether a repair is likely to hold. Ultrasonic or steam cleaning is free, walk-in, whenever a piece can be safely cleaned.

APPRAISALS
Whether you are newly engaged or have inherited a family heirloom, a written appraisal is what your insurer needs to cover the piece at current market value. Written appraisals start at $75, prepared by a GIA Graduate Gemologist with 35+ years in valuation; complex or multi-stone pieces from $125, watch appraisals $75–$100, updates of Billig appraisals $35 with reinspection. Verbal estimates are always free, while you wait.

WATCH REPAIR
Our own watchmakers — nothing goes to a factory service center. Batteries from $15 ($50 for Swiss and luxury pieces), pressure testing from $75, crystal replacement from $125, and full overhauls from $250 for quartz, $350 for automatics and $485 for chronographs. Rolex and other high-end luxury repairs are quoted after inspection.

RING RESIZING
Resizing starts at $75 for a plain gold or white gold band (rhodium re-plating included), with platinum and stone-set rings from $125, eternity bands from $175 in labor, and reshanking from $300. Most rings are finished in five business days; bring a plain band in before 11 AM and same-day service is often possible. Rings purchased at Billig Jewelers include complimentary standard resizing for the original purchaser.

ENGRAVING
Machine and laser engraving run $1.50–$2.50 per character, hand engraving $2.00–$4.00 by our own engraver — and we show you a proof before anything is cut. Monograms from $40, handwriting reproduced from a note or signature from $75, fingerprint engraving from $95, removal of an existing engraving from $75.
DIAMONDS
Billig Jewelers carries an extensive collection of mined and lab-created diamonds, selected to the highest standards, with GIA graduate gemologists on staff to guide the choice. If you would rather start from scratch, our designers will build the piece with you — from designing your own engagement ring to redesigning an older piece to give it new life.
